Jared Evans, a distinguished alumnus and voting rights attorney ’09, has been appointed Chief of Staff for Congressman Cleo Fields. In this role, he will oversee daily operations for both the Congressman’s Capitol Hill and district offices, while also acting as his primary political and policy advisor. Previously a Senior Policy Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Evans played a pivotal role in the landmark Robinson v. Landry voting rights case.
